YTM also facilitates cross-cultural music workshops which are designed to build self-esteem, encourage teamwork and create community. Participants are encouraged to bring their own instruments if they have them to add to the learning, sharing rhythms from around the world.
A Kitchen Stomp is a popular favourite, where pots and pans can become instruments too. Whether this is for a church youth group, a training session at a corporate awayday or with visitors from other countries, a Kitchen Stomp always leads to smiles and lots of laughing.
